Didier's Great 1979 solo album - First time on CD!

As you would expect from any release with Didier's name on it there are some simply fabulous tunes here. The first time I heard the LP years ago it took me about 10 attempts to just get past the first 2 minutes of the album I enjoyed them so much. And I spent the next couple of Gong tours urging Didier to teach it to the band. Although everyone liked the idea it never quite happened.

The wonderful combination of melodic invention, musical power and lightness of touch that is pure Bloomdido runs throughout this CD. No fan of the man's solo work, or his work within Gong could be anything but delighted by this release.

New liner notes by M. Malherbe himself and a beautiful 'new' sleeve which was actually painted by Didier's partner Niquette for the original vinyl release in '79 but was then (most foolishly) rejected by the label and so spent the next 20 years gracing the wall of their hallway.
