After the relatively poor sales of the previous Clearlight concept album, 'Les Conte du Singe Fou', Cyrille decided to strike out on his own and expand on the modal jazz and classical themes of his earlier work and incorporate his new discoveries of Northern Indian Ragas and yoga studies. This album is the result.

The originally LP was released in 1978 - it features a host of guests in Cryille's reinvented progressive orchestra including Gong's own Didier Malberbe. The bonus tracks were recorded/created in 1993 and are marvelous in their own right and I think there may well be samples of be one or more Gongers in there… just a guess.
