WITCH recently played at the seven stars in Totnes, much to the distaste of the management - an hour or so ito the set, a member of staff switched all the house lights on and demanded that they play quieter! 'You're the last band that will play here' he spake unto them. Perhaps that would be a good thing, to save other bands going through the same demeaning experience. The band did an impromtu version of Deep Purple's Hush and then resumed volume, finding it impossible to compromise, finishing the night off with a rip roaring rendition of Bad Self and Season of the Witch, much to the crowds delight.

The lead singer of Witch, Jackie Juno is also known for her painting ability, often exhibiting in Devon and beyond. She recently caused a stir by holding an Erotic Art Exhibition in Totnes...
