Bise de Buse Joue sa Musique Musea FGBG 4684.AR || 2006 || £10.64 $ € ¥ + p+p +tax Click for big pic 1981 album featuring Didier guesting & a cover of Gong's 'You Can't Kill Me' among the bonus tracks Bise de Buse were mid/late 70's French progressive band strongly influenced by, "l'ecole de Canterbury et de Gong". Listening to the CD I'd say we are talking more the Henry Cow end of the Canterbury spectrum than the Caravan end. All that is made clear by the three cover tracks on this expanded CD issue, one Hugh Hopper and one Steve Miller tune, and that most rare of beasts, a Gong cover - all very good they are too. I think this album was originally released, or at least recorded in 1981, I'm not quite sure. I don't really know much more than I can decipher from the French CD liner notes, but if your tastes run to the more progressive end of 'Canterbury', or you just collect the great Bloom's various outings (now there is a task and a half) then you will enjoy this release. I'll have to ask that font of Canterbury lore Aymeric. Track Listing: Total Runtime 71.01
