Pierre's first Arista album is less jazzy and more rock-influenced than it's predecessors. A host of big name guests make telling appearances, Mike Oldfield fans will enjoy the 'new-age rock' of the long title track Downwind, and the vibraphone/violin duet of 'Emotions', which was used on the B-side of the Spanish and Italian 'Jingo' 7", is also particularly memorable. It's just very high class playing throughout, with Pierre on top form.
