University of Error's mainman Josh Pollock and his 'other' band

Anyone who likes the UofE sound/vibe will have no problem resonating with this suite of songs by Josh and the group of very excellent musicians gathered around him. Occassionaly and beautifully hauntingly more mellow than anything attempted with the UofE, there is also more than enough of that UofE energy and Josh's unique guitar sound to satisfy.
"Our debut original CD, A Million Six writhes with twisted pop sensibility. Rock makes rough love to country-singed balladry as we join pedal steel, xylophone, horns, and violins to an irreverent wail of guitar, rhythm and voice."
A very interestingly instrumented CD with wonderful arrangements. Definitely American, vaguely R.E.M.-like in parts, I whole-heartedly recommend this album.
