Gliss CD004 || 2006 || £4.26  $ € ¥  +tax & p+p Click for big pic Accidental mispressing oddity/rarity Proper pressing of Steffe's psychedelic dub album mis-pressed with some wonderful Chopin - I think it is. Of course I'd heard of the wrong music being pressed on CDs, and even have a Here & Now mis-pressed LP in the archives, but I never thought it would happen to me, but it did last year just before the Uncon. Unfortunately a few copies were sold in Amsterdam and it took many months to be able to replace these with the correct CD as the pressing plant wriggled and squirmed refusing to accept responsibility for the mistake and therefore re-press the CD. One of the things I had to do along the torturous road to resolving this issue was send the entire batch of 500 mis-pressed CDs back to the pressing plant to be checked, after which they were destroyed. Somehow just eleven copies ended up not being sent back, so if you want one of these strange oddities, here they are. They have all regular the Bubbled Up on Dub artwork including the on CD printing, but they play classical music. I like to imagine that out there somewhere are a load of elegantly covered classical music CDs full of Steffe's psychedelic dub. Track Listing: No real idea whatsoever.
