- prices
- Prices are in GBP, before packing and postage and taxes. Details and prices are correct at time of posting, but may change.
- credit/debit cards
- Cards are not debited until orders are ready to ship. If your card is declined, we will email you one time. If you do not reply, we may make a second attempt to complete the transaction - usually after a week or two, or up to four weeks later.
- taxes & import duties
- Customers in the UK will have VAT added. Customers outside the UK may be subject to local taxes and import duties. If you refuse delivery or fail to collect your parcel(s) and the order is safely returned, postage and any penalties which might be levied on us, plus a £1 handling charge, will be deducted from any refund.
- books
- There is no tax on books. You pay only the cost of the books, plus shipping. The shopping cart mistakenly shows tax on books. We remove it.
- packing
- - CDs and DVDs are bubble wrapped
- - vinyl records go in thick, strong cruciform cartons, bubble-wrapped, with layers of card stiffeners
- - posters are either rolled or folded according to their description
- - t-shirts make great packing material
- dispatch
- We try our best to send out all regular orders within 48 hours. UK customers should allow at least 14 days to receive them - double that for overseas customers, and double both during global pandemics.
- pre-orders
- Pre-orders are sent in the order received as products become available, subject to successful payment processing.
- shipping
- Carriage is calculated by actual postage costs, plus £1 per parcel, weighed by a real person for each individual order. The shopping cart can only estimate shipping charges; normally you pay less than the estimate for smaller items, possibly slightly more for larger items (such as LPs and rolled posters) or multiple items.
- delivery
- UK delivery is by 2nd class mail. For all other destinations delivery is by airmail. Orders over £50 will be sent tracked or tracked and signed-for where available. If you require alternate shipping methods, please contact us.
